Hello,

I reply in english this time because i don't want any confusion.
I don't know if Google Translate is alright to converse French to German... perhaps there is some "misinterpretation" sometimes, but i can't see it because i am very bad in german langage.
This is the reason why i write my message in "Translate German Langage by Google" and the original in French.

I like read this forum because i think german people are goods in tunings cars.

I am desperate because my FPR (fuel pressure regulator) break down for the second time... I want to make an other error in buying a none brand item.
I understand how a regulator work.
I read many things on other Land Rover forums (french, german, australian, ...) but any of them said if the Bosch n° 0280160575 is really good for the TD5 engine.
The only answer i can read is that it is a 4 Bar regulator.
The goal of my message is to save my money (more than 100€) and the planet too because i found it is stupid to change a lot of items for only one defect piece...

Hello Fred,

you can use the Bosch part number 0 280 160 575 in your TD5 FPR. It's 78,- € plus tax.

It's also avaliable at VAG-partners, part number 078 133 534 C - just in case you have no Bosch partner to order from.

Wenn der Druckregler undicht wird tropft dort Diesel heraus. Falschluft wird er im Fahrbetrieb dort nie ziehen.
Der Druckregler begrenzt den Kraftstoffdruck auf 4 bar. Soll heißen der Diesel hat an dieser Stelle über 4 bar und deshalb kann es nur tropfen aber keine Luft ziehen.

Wenn Dein Disco beim starken Beschleunigen ruckt, mach ihn mal aus und drehe den Schlüssel sofort wieder auf die Zündung.
Macht die Dieselpumpe dann quitschende Geräusche? Falls ja, ist der Fehler bei den Dichtungen der Pumpe-/Düseeinheiten zu suchen.

Et plus particulièrement le "FPR Mini 38" ref 0 280 160 616 qui est intéressant Voir la Doc complète en .pdf

Caractéristiques en bref :
Pressure range 3.8 bar -> peut-être un peu faible
Reflow quantity 15 to 220 l/h -> la pompe aurait un débit de 180 l/h donc OK
Fuel compatibility Gasoline, E10 -> tout bon
Operating temperature -40 to 120°C -> tout bon

... mais seulement 3,8 Bar, est-ce quffisant pour le TD5 ? !!!

J'espère que le BOSCH 0 280 160 575 (4 bar) à les même caractéristiques et c'est TOUT BON !!!
