also, scheint wohl ein BMC 2,5L Diesel zu sein..ich kopier mal die Antworten rein:

It is a BMC. The 2.2's I have come across - all had pressed steel rocker covers. Maybe this is a 2.5

« Reply #3 on: Today at 20:48 »The 2.5 was mainly used in London Cabs - till replaced by the Land Rover 2.25 which proved unsatisfactory as cab driving destroyed the timing chain and mechanism - so they had to re-import the BMC engines from India!

I fitted a 2.2 into a Land Rover - that one had a symetrical rocker cover with no lumps on the back end. The strangely curvaceous exhaust manifold is a give away for BMC diesels and a similar one was used on other BMC larger diesels.

The BMC has a 3 row timing chain and I expect the 2.5 was a 2.2 with the dry cylinder liners left out. (Well I expect there's a little more to it than that!)
