Hey, nice truck! Did you have to go thru an inspection like TUEV (is there something similar in I?) after installing the LED headlamps? I know that lots of people in Germany just install them. Austria is different, you'd get in serious troubles w/ the police when they stop you. So what about Italy?

They are ECE R112, SAME homologation of the original one and for the EU directives you can install without TUEV or similar visit.Zitat von berti1554 Beitrag anzeigen

That's what I thought and was told, tough. However, Austrian police and the TUEV there think different. During an inspection by the Austrian police LED headlamps were seen as a modification that has to get approved thru the TUEV. The police thought the LED headlamps are an illegal modifiaction and I got 2 weeks to show the car at a local TUEV office for inspection. I was at the TUEV in Innsbruck. There I was told that I need a report of a photometric test for exactely those lamps installed on a Defender.
