to all the users and abusers here in black landy forum, and all the friends i have made over the past 20 odd years.
may i take this moment before you all go off trying to kill yourselves and your friends with your bangers and fireworks, to wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008.
for all those i have had the pleasure to meet and make friends with, either in person or on the telephone i thank you for making my 2007 the best landrovering year i have had since leaving blighty. its been fun,dirty muddy and downright wet some of the time, but we all came out smiling in the end.
for me the highlight has been the useful information and friendship platform i have found in blacklandy. to all the editors, forum minders and matt personaly i send to you my sincere thanks and best wishes for next year. LONG LIVE THE FORUM.
even when we seem to get on each others nerves at times and disagree over our hobby, i firmly believe this is all healthy.
as some of my friends over last year have decided to find thier luck in other places around the world because they feel let down here may i say to others thinking of the same, please think carefully before leaving it is a great place to live, even though for me personally it will never be my home, my landy friends make it as good as it gets.
we have a saying in the army, "dont burn your own bridges, you might just need to go back".
i will leave you all with just a few of my wishes for 2008.
look after yourselves and your families.
look after your landy.

and last but not least, my biggest wish, even if a little niaeve is that we dont see anymore of the bild zietung langauge being used to make others here in blacklandy unhappy.
