Forget my last question! Normally, when you have got the RDS set "on", you have to have the running titles permanently on the display, but only, if the radio station tramsmits the titles. In germany - as far as I know - there are only few broadcasting stations who transmit an dynamic RDS signal, e. g. Radio FFH near Frankfurt/Main, but mostly, stations only have a static RDS signal without any titles coming up to the radio display. I hope, I have helped you a bit.

Thanks mate wify has ndr2 on and it worked in the old Rover ok in the new LR2 now joy at all tryed all options ie pressing all the buttons on the radio X(

Also, in unserem alten Freelander facelift hatten wir ein Radio von Becker. Es hat nicht permanent den Text angezeit, nur wenn man TXT angeklickt hat. Und ich fand das so schön, wenn ich einmal ein Lied gehört habe und nicht wusste, wer das singt, konnte ich gleich nachsehen. Und jetzt bei dem neuen Freelander 2 hat das Radio Komfortausstattung (6-fach CD-Wechsler von Alpine). Bei MP3 wird der Text automatisch angezeigt, nur bei Musiktiteln im Radio kommt nichts.
Angezeigt wird nur der Sender. Beim alten Radio zeigte das Display bei Textmeldungen aktuelle Telefonnummern usw.
